Last Saturday we went out for our friend Josh's birthday. As we were leaving the last bar in the wee hours of the morning (clubs and bars in Korea stay open until about 5 or 6am...We're not in Columbia anymore), to our pleasant surprise, there in the middle of the road was a blinged out taxi that looked like it drove right off the set of "The Fast and The Furious." As soon as we got in the car our cab driver blasted a cd that had Justin Timberlake, Ja Rule, Dr. Dre, etc. I felt like we were on a party bus. We coaxed our cabbie (along with some kimbop: Korean veggie/sushi roll) to just keep driving us around Daejeon. The cab ride ended up costing about 30,000 won, which means we were in the blinged out taxi for about an hour. I'd definitely say it was a TIKI TIKI moment.
